ALRIGHT,
Soon we're all going to have a LAN party but there's some stuff we need to cover first,
1. The Hardware
We need enough computers for everybody and we need a wireless router. I know some people will bring laptops but some will only be able to bring desktops so we need to attend to that.
2. Treaties
We need foods and drinks to keep us going through the night. WE NEED TO BE ENERGISED AT ALL TIMES, WE'RE PULLING AN ALL NIGHTER. So it would be nice if everyone could bring a little something.
3. Location and Time
I'm thinking Gian's house, but if he says no we'll find somewhere else.
As for time, I believe we should start at night, so everyone comes over in the afternoon, we'll set up and commence gaming at dusk.
4. Games
Last but not least, we need to sort out what we're playing. IMO it would be better to have a schedule of what we're playing, instead of everyone just going off and doing their own thing. I've got a bunch of games in mind, once I've got enough I'll write up a roster or something and we'll have some tournaments or whatever (STREET FIGHTER AND KOF TOURNAMENT YEAH!)
Prizes will be awarded to those who win tournaments.
Anyway, let me know what games we should play, currently we've got:
Quake II
Street Fighter 2
Alien vs Predator 2
James Bond Nightfire
QWOP
Flatout 2
Duke Nukem 3D
AssaultCube
RedEclipse
Starcraft 1
Ace of Spades
America's Army 2
I wouldn't suggest any RPG games since they go on forever, mainly just quick action games, so strategy (as long as it doesn't drag on for ages) FPS and racing games are good.
And for god's sake, everyone make an account and reply so I know you've read it.
